Needed emergency repair of a bad leak in the the main drain line of my house at 9pm. Joe came out and was able to stop the leak long enough to wait for his return the following morning. He came back with a partner and they were able to effect a repair in about four hours. The problem was solved and it looks good. Both Joe and his partner (whose name escapes me) were professional and conscientious in their work. They left no debris or other waste. Indeed, the only evidence of their visit is the new pipe and my piece of mind. As for pricing, I have no idea of the going rates for such a response, but some things to note: - for emergency response, there is a $250 fee that must be paid before anyone walks in your door. This is in addition to whatever the repair will cost. - there is a senior discount. - opening the main house trap has a fee associated, and snaking the pipe that goes out to the street is another fee. Again, these fees are in addition to the cost of the repair. - I would include the final price but without the details of the material used it wouldn't mean much. Ultimately, the job was about $250/hr/man for all work and all material (replaced the entire cast iron drain line with pvc), done on both days, plus the emergency response fee. All of the costs are presented before any work is started so you know what the job is going to cost you. Beyond the fees, the up front cost of the actual repair was an estimated range and fell on the low side (take that with a grain of salt, though). The communication was great. Between calls and texts, either Joe or his office staff (I want to say Sandy?) was in regular contact with me, and I felt like I could call or text if I had a question or concern. The men were of good cheer, I never heard a swear word (in case that matters to you), and they were neat and tidy. As I said, I have no idea of the average rate, but I'm satisfied with the work, and the conduct and competence of Joe and his team relieved a lot of tension from a very stressful moment (sewage water pouring into my basement). Would definitely use again.

Wow. Great service, on time, professional plumbers. This was my first time using Chivalry, but certainly not the last. On top of everything, their communication is top tier. It’s not hard to have good customer service these days, and even mediocre is good. That said, Chivalry is anything but mediocre. Quit searching for a plumbing service and book these guys.

Anthony and his partner did an excellent job repairing the leak in my main water line. They arrived on schedule and repaired the leak with little damage to my lawn. Price was very reasonable for the services rendered. I will make sure I use them on all future plumbing repairs.

I was able to make a same day appointment on a rainy and chilly day when the boiler would not come on. I was contacted via email and text and given updates on when the service provider would arrive. They laid down a mat and put on shoe covers to prevent soiling the floors and I really appreciated that. Anthony arrives with another worker and they were professional and polite. They were able to get the boiler back on and they left my home exactly as they found it (but warmer). I received my receipt immediately upon payment. I would call again if there are problems in the future.

When you need any plumbing or heating work done in your home, call no one but this company. They are the best by far. My house is almost 100 years old, and they have been my saving grace. Excellent work by Anthony and staff.. These folks are very experienced with gas hot water furnaces and they fixed to perfection a very neglected system at our daughters house that she had purchased. This repair was done very professionally and at a very reasonable price.

I called because I had a leak they came that day. The plumbers name was Joe and he assessed. The problem, gave me an estimate, and when I agreed to have him do the work, he did the work in a timely manner efficiently And kept me informed on exactly what was going on. It was wonderful. To unclog the drain only took 10-15 minutes and I was charged $414.00. The job was resolved properly but the price was exorbitant.

I had a water pipe burst over the winter, one plumber came and told me the entire water heater needed to be replaced and charging me over 6k. I called Chivalry, they came the same day, and the plumber told me he can replace the pipe right then for $400, and told me the water heater was totally fine. Appreciate an honest plumber. I was referred to Chivalry by my go-to-plumber who did not service the area of Nassau County where I needed service. I was thoroughly impressed by the level of communication (text, calls, emails) by Chivalry. The only thing I questioned re: communication, was why an out-of-state number was following up on the arrival of the technician. A very moot point, just something I noticed from the area code calling me. I need a few values replaced that were causing leaks/drops on the outside of a home. It had previously been replacement by another company, but upon inspecting it, I was not happy with quality of the parts used. Joe swapped out all the faulty parts and tidied up everything very nicely. He was friendly, efficient and thorough.

Highly recommend Joe and Anthony and crew. Such fast repair service for inside leak, diagnosed as main blockage and roots invading. Main replaced to the street. So courteous, helpful and their receptionist is the kindest person ever! Please call them!

I called Chivalry due to an emergency that we had with our boiler. They were extremely responsive and were in touch with me from scheduling the appointment until the job was completed. The technicians showed up on time and were extremely careful to avoid causing any mess. In fact, they brought a floor mat with them so they could wipe off their shoes before entering my home. They repaired our system quickly and without any hitches. I have no concerns about using them again.

Had partial blockages in two drain runs, one being the main house drain to the street the other in a shower. Chivalry (Joe) was prompt in arriving and gave me a fair estimate of the repair costs. He was very neat and meticulous in performing the cleaning. He worked for about an hour and a half and tested the cleared lines before he left. I would definitely recommend the company to others and have now found a reliable plumber for my house. Joe even gave me a senior discount.
